Three Florida teenagers face serious charges including kidnapping, robbery, and extortion after allegedly abducting a man at gunpoint and stealing $4 million in cryptocurrency and NFTs. Two of the suspects, both 16-year-olds from Pasco County, are being tried as adults—one held on $4 million bail, the other under house arrest with electronic monitoring. A third suspect fled the country and remains at large.

The victim, returning from hosting a crypto event in Downtown Las Vegas, was ambushed in November and driven over 70 miles to a remote desert area near White Hills, Arizona. There, he was threatened with death unless he cooperated in surrendering his digital assets. The case underscores the dark intersection of physical crime and decentralized finance.
